PawTrack

A QR-powered SaaS platform for veterinary clinics covering customers, pets, appointments, examinations, inventory and invoicing, built as a modular monolith.

Problem

Aims to give small veterinary clinics one QR-code-based system for pet records, scheduling, inventory and billing instead of scattered paperwork.

Highlights

  • QR-driven pet profile lookup flow
  • JWT auth with a dedicated JwtSecretValidator and unit test
  • Flyway migrations for schema versioning
  • 12 structured docs (PRD, architecture, API contract, KVKK/security, test strategy)
  • GitHub Actions CI configured

Architecture and notes

A modular monolith: a Spring Boot backend and a Next.js web app live in one repository. Pet profiles are reached through a QR code, authentication uses JWT with a dedicated secret validator covered by a unit test, Flyway versions the PostgreSQL schema, and GitHub Actions runs CI. The design is written down in a set of structured documents, from the product requirements to the API contract, security and test strategy.
